Borland Rosebowl 2026

June 27 saw the annual Borland Rosebowl clash between Habbies and Old Course Ranfurly Golf Club

With 16 players from each side competing in a four-ball better ball format, the match was, as always, competitive yet played in great spirit, a tradition that has defined the Rosebowl since its inception in 1985.

It proved to be another closely contested encounter, with Habbies edging a narrow 4½ to 3½ victory to successfully retain the trophy.

Our sincere thanks go to Old Course Ranfurly’s Captain, players, and staff for their warm hospitality and sportsmanship throughout the day.

Continuing our commitment to supporting charitable causes, Captain Craig Dunning presented a cheque for £100 to Old Course Ranfurly, to be donated to Prostate Scotland, a charity dedicated to raising awareness and providing support around prostate health.

The Rosebowl remains a highlight of the Habbies calendar, and we already look forward to defending the trophy again in 2027
