The Habbie Simpson Gowfin’ Society: Golf, Friendship, and Giving Back.

About

Founded by a group of golf lovers in our community over 60 years ago, the society is named after Habbie Simpson, a renowned  piper from Kilbarchan’s history. We gather regularly for friendly competitions at courses both local and further afield, fostering camaraderie and sportsmanship among our members. But beyond the fairways, we’re committed to charitable efforts that benefit local causes.

Over the years, our society has raised funds for a range of charitable initiatives, supporting everything from St Vincent’s Hospice to community improvement projects such as the installation of the new bench situated in Kilbarchan’s Millennium Garden.

We believe that golf is a wonderful way to bring people together and, in turn, make a real difference.

If you’re a golfer who shares our values of fellowship and philanthropy, we’d love for you to get involved. Whether you’re a seasoned player or just starting out, The Habbie Simpson Gowfin’ Society welcomes new members to join us in making a positive impact through the sport we love.

Together, we can enjoy great golf and do great things for our community.
